I did think that when they delivered that bad news to me. I thought I'd be in for a hefty bill to get to pass the MOT.

Land rover also gave me a load of other work that they recommended having don ...

I've had a quote from an independent land rover specialist for £565.

It's concerning that stuff like this is breaking, it's only done 50k miles.

Thanks guys

Do you have some details of which FL2 you have? model/year/mileage etc?

Thanks.

It's done around 51k miles.

Hi guys,

I had my Freelander 2 in the stealer for what I thought would be a simple MOT and minor service.

They've told me that the prop shaft centre mount or both mounts are split and they want ...

Last week we drove from Leeds to Budapest, about 1300 miles in total. We are heading back this week. We did it in about 2 and a half tanks of diesel. Stopped over night in 2 places, 3 days of driving. ...

I have a 13 place, HSE, it doesn't have keyless entry.

I have a few cars. The Freelander 2 does feel a bit old and cumbersome compared to newer vehicles. The infotainment system is pants.

But ...

I love the look of the new defender. I think that LR have done the right thing by aiming it at the same crowd that buy the G wagon or range rover, the real money is in selling premium SUV's to the mid ...

A roof rack could be a good option. It looks like they'll be easier to secure. I've got a standard mountain bike on order, I'm thinking about getting an E bike next, I don't know if I'd want to put a ...

I like a lighter coloured interior as well but I don't want to spend the extra time cleaning it or getting someone else to clean it.

Absolutely take the warranty especially if it’s the LR Approved if you’re buying through an LR dealer. My SE is the same year, similar mileage and full LRSH. Just had the turbo fail without warnin ...

A rack looks like it would be a lot easier.

For security, I would prefer to put them inside. We often go out somewhere for the day and then stop off at a pub for a late lunch or dinner. Bikes get ...

Like with most cars, how well it's been looked after is the major factor. Look for one that has a lot of service history and has been serviced at a land rover garage.

There are differences with the ...

Does anyone here regularly put adult mountain bikes in the back of their freelander 2?

I'm about to buy 2 adult mountain bikes. I'm wondering if they'll fit comfortably in the back, when the front ...
