 Help - Gear Selector cable

When mine went it was a long job and the mechanic said he never wanted to do it again.
It involved taking a lot of interior trim/ console out to get to the gear lever end.

I have one replacement cover for the rear seat hinge. If you sit in a rear seat then it is behind your feet, it covers the seat fixing/hinge used to tilt the seat forward.

Free to a good home.

Mine started rattling yesterday. I've had a quick look. Hopefully some big washers will fix it but I'm not sure that there is much of the original fixing pegs left.

I have a 2011 Freelander, no factory fitted sat nav. I have a Kenwood unit in place of the original. As @Nodge68 says the dash clock no longer works, but the reversing sensors do.

It was the cable that had failed.
£137+vat for the cable and four hours labour. The dash had to come out.
At least it wasn't the gearbox.

It's at the garage now but they are very busy to it could be a week before I hear anything.
