I have to pump up My drivers seat (not electric) every time i get into the car. I think that this should not have to be done every time .. Should It

I thought the problem had been solved

Didn't it get worked out that the driver presses the leaver when getting in and out, which releases the seat and lowers it Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I don't know how the lever can be moved when getting in and out, I certainly don't put my hand anywhere near the lever and I can't see how my leg can move it when getting in and out !

One of lifes little mysteries !!! Very Happy

IIRC it was when getting in, if you don't sit far enough in and sit on the seat bolster, it can depress the lever allowing it to lower the seat

I dont know mine are 'lecky ones my only problem is remembering which button to press Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

My FL2 had this problem it wasn't due to the pump (my10). They tested this by placing a block of wood under the leaver and it still sunk! The way forward in the end was part electric seat. Cool

I had the same issue, went on and on with LR that my seat was keep dropping down.

I did eventually get it exchanged under warranty for an electric seat but.......

I pumped the seat up on day, drove from south yorkshire to northumberland, before getting out i tried to pump the seat up
and it would not pump any firther, hence non drop.

I got in and out of the car, its my leg when putting your foot out that hits the lever and drops it!!! Rolling Eyes

Try it and you will see!! still not ideal though, so push it with LR to get it replaced for a lecky seat Cool Anyhoo off oot on me mobike.....

That's me just about to set off for Lloyds of Carlisle to drop of the Feel2. They said they will need the car for a week to sort out the dropping drivers seat.. fingers crossed they do just that.

Will let you know ..

So the manual seat can be replaced by a part electric seat? Any extra work needed done to do this 'mod'? What electric controls did you get?
