Lost my keyfob!

Lost a keyfob for the Freely the other day through what I think is shoddy design / workmanship (specifically the little bit of bent tin that you are supposed to use to attach it to your keyring) so it is lying in 2 foot of grass in a field somewhere. Anyone else had a prob with this? If not, suggest you replace the attachment ring supplied with your fob as soon as possible to prevent the same thing happening to you, as a new programmed fob is £186!!!!!!! This is clearly daylight robbery as it must cost all of £5 to make. Land Rover obviously weren't interested in meeting me half way on the replacement as they could not verify a faulty / poor quality fob as I had lost it! Really helpful, not.

Happened to me also the link stretched and fob fell off

swapped to a decent ring but occasionally that slips off the larger keyfobs ring now, just like my leatherman micra keyring tool does Evil or Very Mad Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
