14.5 is the correct charging voltage Don't put petrol in a diesel. They don't run well. |

Thanks Boxer, do you know if any damage to the electrics will occur if the voltage rises to 15.2 volts. Also could this be a sign that the battery is faulty? Freelander 2 TD4 GS Auto with Winter Pack, Stornaway Grey, Ebony, Grey Mirror Caps. Removable towbar with 13 pin Electrics |

Don/t know the answer, but would have thought that as a spike it would be fine. If it is maintained for a long period then overheating of some of the circuits may occur. Best check that one out with your local LR dealer. Don't put petrol in a diesel. They don't run well. |

Charge voltage for a lead-calcium battery as fitted to the FL2 can be up to 15.5VDC dependent upon external temperature and vehicle load, the voltages you mention are not an issue |
