There are only three entities that benefit from the tasteless body kits, namely:
1. Those who like them (they do exist, and fair play to them, but they are thankfully a minority)
2. Land Rover
3. The manufacturers who supply Land Rover with the body kits

if you can think of others, add to the list...

The kit gets my vote Mav71... I fitted one to my SE last year...
I originally was going to add it to the order, but decided against it (i couldn't justify the extra £1200 or so at the time) - but when i found out it was a dealer fit option (not factory fit), I always planned to get one. I eventually picked one up brand new off ebay for about £500 or so, Money well spent, and IMO really finishes the car off.

Each to their own... but, to me... the kit looks the business... (yes it's stuck on with 'sticky tape' Shocked ... but its been fine the 15 months it's been on the car... Thumbs Up )

Cheers
Steve 2008 SE, HSE wheels, Black Premium Leather, Privacy Glass, Sports Kit, Side Steps, various LED upgrades and Clear side indicators.

OK, as an alternative, what about just colour coding the bottom half like the latest models. This would mean buying the following :-

Front & Rear Bumpers
Front & Rear Parking Sensor mounting kits.
All 6 lower door and Wing sill panels

At least this would bring the car bang up to date without the bodykit? Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........
