European numbers look good for September too (latest data), however the year to date sales on ACEA still look pretty woeful

That may sound very snug for UK owners, but the real hard truth will come out if LR published its sales for other countries around the world compared to each models competitors models. The picture I guess would be a very different one. In Europe alone, BMW, Honda, Volkswagen, Ford, Nissan and Toyota 4x4 models have an enormous sales totals compared to the minute LR sales. Only in the US is LR sales maybe worth mentioning? In Norway for example, it is not surprising the sales are almost non-existent or so tiny that the figures do not show up on any listing. One reason maybe because Land Rover does not advertise it’s mechanise at all, however all the other makes are well and truly publicised in this very popular 4x4 vehicle country. Still, suits me at the moment driving an exclusive and rare vehicle, but when replacement day arrives I wonder just how much depreciation my FL2 will suffer. 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof. Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc. |
