United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Rimini Red
any suggestions on seat covers ??

Hi there.

Just bought a GS for my wife and was wondering if any of you guys can recommend a place to get black seat covers for the rear seats ( kid proof).

they made mince meat of her CRV so they've been banned from my RRS and we're looking for 'robust' covers or possibly handcuffs and straight jackets if we can't find them. Laughing

LR don't do black ones anymore.

any help much appreciated !

Thought you can get genuine LR covers, not sure how much though.

Also, Nene Overland & others sell Exmoor trim stuff, and they do Melvin & Moon covers (sure that's what they're called) which look very robust and hard wearing, although not sure on the price front. May be more than LR ones.

i was just looking through the ownerinfo site and saw fitting instructions for the rear seat covers LR004989/4929 with armrests or LR004926/4927 without armrests

I googled the LR004926 and a couple of places seemed to have them in, but your looking at £130+ for them

I would contact Nick Lee (parts manager) at Yeovil Landrover and he should be able to provide you with a set, cheaper than that (normaly 20% to forum members)

I think he is away on holiday at the moment, so might be a week or two before he can sort it for you Thumbs Up Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
