Hi,

What is the highest accessory current that anyone has run on their Freelander without ending up with problems? e.g from auxiliary lighting etc. I note the G4 Freelander was only going to have 2 roof lights, whereas the RR Disco had 4.

What I really want to know is how much spare capacity is in the alternator.

Normally a D3 will be running a second battery for lights and such things

I don't know the size of the alternator on the FL2 could you not contact somebody like Duckworth Parts and find one that gives the infoO Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

If you are going to run any big wattage or high current loads you will need to invest in a larger output alternator.
These are readily available from most motor sport accessory suppliers and used on a regular basis by the rally car guys.
