I looked at the XS and it appeared that the s/roof was an option and my concession to technology Bluetooth was as well still pining for my 3dr, no removeable hardtop, no drop glass tailgate, no roof rack, no pockets everywhere to stow all that man kit |

no big deal - go for a HSE and remove the "H" on the boot, so as not to be labeled an old fart |

That is the most ridiculous thing that CG has ever said on the forum ![]() The glass roof gives the interior a light and airy feel when closed and when open (except in winter), it lets in the clean Norwegian air and in my opinion is a necessary and pleasant accessory for the Freely. Those that don’t have can only regret what they are missing ![]() PS: - I never wear a stove pipe hat - only a grey flat cap ![]() Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc. |

I put it in as my former car was a convertible and loved the light the comes into the interior. I only open it to get the hot air out quicly when left in the sun too long, as the airco keeps me cool afterwards.

Remember all I am still pining for my old 3dr, drop Rr T/gate glass, pop out roof panels and best of all removeable Rr Roof (Contrary to handbook you can remove roof without taking off roof rack and with practice it one person can do it easily)

I agree, a silly comment by CG, I love my sunroof and use it alot. I do get the feeling that CG is very sarcastic in alot of his posts. (Just a polite observation). Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come......... |

I have a GS with panoramic roof, paid for as an extra and hardly ever use it. I like the light and airy feeling but its too noisy to have open at anything over 40ish.

I will see you there ![]() Ive had sunrooves before but nearly always kept the blind closed , I just prefer it that way. Maybe when Finns a little older a sunroof will be nice for him , letting a bit more light into the back?
