I am having to type this quietly so that Freeda does not hear but I was idley musing with the idea of replacing her so I checked out the LR webpage. Shock horror no SE spec, has I have posted before it was the ideal level for me, sunroof, satnav and half leather without moving into the bling arena and old farts frt seats.
Suppose its down to option pricing and negotiation but I have always believed in buying a specification not having to add to the base to get the car I want and a s/roof is an essential to me.
Still smiling and enjoying every driving minute but the miles are clocking up. still pining for my 3dr, no removeable hardtop, no drop glass tailgate, no roof rack, no pockets everywhere to stow all that man kit

at 2010MY XS is the new SE, in the UK at least

no big deal - go for a HSE and remove the "H" on the boot, so as not to be labeled an old fart  2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

The glass roof gives the interior a light and airy feel when closed and when open (except in winter), it lets in the clean Norwegian air and in my opinion is a necessary and pleasant accessory for the Freely. Those that don’t have can only regret what they are missing

I put it in as my former car was a convertible and loved the light the comes into the interior. I only open it to get the hot air out quicly when left in the sun too long, as the airco keeps me cool afterwards.

My sun tough loves opening it tough.

What I do regret on the car is the noise you get when driving with an open back window.

Remember all I am still pining for my old 3dr, drop Rr T/gate glass, pop out roof panels and best of all removeable Rr Roof (Contrary to handbook you can remove roof without taking off roof rack and with practice it one person can do it easily)

I have a GS with panoramic roof, paid for as an extra and hardly ever use it. I like the light and airy feeling but its too noisy to have open at anything over 40ish.

Ive had sunrooves before but nearly always kept the blind closed , I just prefer it that way. Maybe when Finns a little older a sunroof will be nice for him , letting a bit more light into the back? At work
