SD4 2011 Auto Gearbox Issues - Solenoid Maybe?

Hi

Have recently replaced the gearbox and the rear prop shaft. Now i'm getting issues with the replacement gearbox, i believe. It's under warranty but i'm wondering if the whole box needs replacing or just a solenoid or two. From my research so far it appears that a solenoid replacement isnt a very big job, whereas id have to pay for the labour costs on the gearbox change again...

Intermittent issue changing gear. Error codes:

P0735 Gear 5 incorrect ratio
P0729 Gear 6 incorrect ratio
P074E Unable to engage gear 6
P0896 Shift time too long

Codes were cleared, car taken for a drive and then they reappeared.

Long time reader, first time post-er. I hope you are able to help.

TL:DR Do I need a replacement gearbox again, or just a solenoid or 2, or maybe something else?

Thanks in advance

Everything seems to suggest a gear selector position sensor calibration after a replacement gearbox...

Ok, thank you. I didn't see that when i googled the codes. I will google the 'how to' for that calibration then.
Thanks!

Hmm can't seem to find a lot of info on how to do it. I presume it needs a Landy Dealer / Independant Specialist then?

I didn't mention that it was driving fine for about a month before throwing these codes. Does that make a difference?

Either a pressure problem or a solenoid problem.
Take a look at the valve block and its solenoids. Better, if you have a spare valve block, replace it.
If all is OK, then replace the filter. Pretty difficult job as the gearbox has to come off the car.

As for the gear selector position sensor, in my opinion, if you driven the car for a month and, during this time, it correctly engaged Drive and Reverse, then it is OK.
