If you’re being towed at 20mph use third and feather the clutch! Interesting fact - the clutch on the fl2 has a damper to prevent it being dropped too hard. I’m not saying it’ll prevent damage if you dump it at 20 in first, but it’ll give you a fighting chance. |

Vauxhall made their tensioners from cheese. We had one go on a Corsa. Longer story, Vauxhall replaced the car. So i think the relevant question to answer is how often they go on this engine. |

Of course on this forum people will likely be more likely to replace on time, so unlikely people on here will have experienced a failure on their FL2. |
