Just wondering if anyone has used Maddison 4x4 for their servicing needs and have any comments about them.

I take it then that other than I might meet your wife on the road, which I don't think will be a problem having driven in Darlington, it will be worth booking my vehicle into Maddison's.

Do you do your own servicing or do you use an independent garage?

I have used Green Oval in Leeds in the past as I used to worked not too far from them.

tbh I keep my (wifes) car in warranty
Then run a 14 year old ford ranger for work, that gets some servicing by me, annual oil change, occasional diff oil change, etc but little else. If it starts getting spendy it will have to move on to the next life, will be a sad day as its basicness is a god send , no dpf etc etc

If I had a big breakdown out of warranty, I would go to my local village garage, a good guy but an ex-merc fitter not LR so I cant really recommend him for you At work

Didnt the Maddison family have a huge tragedy while rescuing another LR on the hard shoulder years ago? I remember some terrible tale like that At work

You are right, just looked it up.

There is a green oval at wetherby if that helps.

Leyburn Land Rover are excellent and not a million miles away

I have decided to give Maddison 4x4 a go but thanks for the suggestions, I will keep them in mind should I be disappointed.

Having now used Maddison 4x4 for my most recent service I can recommend them.
