I often look at Disco & RR sites. For example often I have typed in Gibb River Road & Discovery or Range Rover. The Freelander may not have the luxurious suspension but it is a bit less likely to have the eye watering expense of recovering the car from a remote location. Springs are less likely to break than air suspension, more so by not having stupid rubber band thickness tyres!

Also researched D3 and 4 using the same name. As above, got scared by the horror stories of broken cranks and the like so decided on the safer cheaper (hopefully) option of a freel2. Still look with envy at late model D4s though! Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948
