Take a look at this thread

https://www.freel2.com/forum/topic31665.html

Note: Type T-IV will work also

I’ve changed my fluid several times for my 2008 3.2

For the first 12 quarts I used Mobil (picture in the thread)

Recently I bought

Aisin Type T-IV

Note: Aisin makes our automatic transmission

Good luck

Paul

No problem

Here is the interchange for the T-IV Fluid (Information is directly from AISIN)

AISIN calls out the JWS 3309 specification on their product data sheet

Note: AISIN call it ATF-0T4 (even though it labeled T-IV)

the later AISIN transmissions used a WS (World Spec) ATF

All of these manufacturers use the T-IV AISIN fluid

Well that wasn't too much of a nightmare to do. Being a petrol, I was slightly hampered with a wee bit less access to the filler plug, but not too bad overall. I was actually kinda disappointed to see that the old fluid looked and smelt OK! Guess it had been done fairly close to our purchase of it a year and 10,000 miles ago. Never mind, at least I know the level is correct!

Where I come from we have a phrase that describes your situation

We call that a ......... High quality problem

Those are my favorite type of problems to have

For reference here is another example.... let’s say you own a stock that has gone up in value and now your going to have to pay taxes on the gain. That my friend is a high quality problem.

I dream of the day that all of my problems are high quality problems

Take care

Paul
