check it had the recall work done fully, first stage of this was to remove the large fuse for this heater, second stage was to replace the heater and refit the fuse.

Log in to TOPIx and get the Vehicle Summary for your specific vehicle and that will show if it had a PTC Heater when it left the factory. 2005 D3 2.7 Auto

Typical for long warming up would be the thermostat stuck open. I seem to remember they may be interchangeable with a Peugeot at loss less money as they come in a unit. Search as its on here somewhere. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years
