Headlight change 2008 to 2013 how difficult

Hi i like the look of the signature headlight of the 2013 model
Just wondering if anyone can give me some advice on how difficult it is to change the wiring on my 2008 to accompany the new headlights
thanks

Not difficult but expensive! There is a company that sells the adapter looms on Ebay but they want £249 for them. See ebay item no eBay Item No. 153033301137. They have only about 3 wires to connect and it only takes a couple of minutes and can be changed back to the originals just as quickly. They give (almost) the same functionality as the original later lights. There is also a few threads on here that describe how other members have made up their own looms so that they could fit the later lights to their cars.(no connection to the Ebay seller) Thumbs Up

Moderately to quite difficult I'd say*. There are existing threads on this one such as this...

Members WytonPJ or JimNI (not sure either post these days) were the experts that I remember but there are others who have successfully completed the job. I think part f the difficulty is reproducing the exact factory fit DRL/signature behaviour.

*notwithstanding the use of the expensive Cameron's Autos adaptor which does not give full factory functionality.

Also have a look at the Osram LEDFOG101 DRL / fog combo - a bit more expensive but they look great (I'm a bit biased though Whistle ) Cheers,
