Lots of 65 plate D5 XC 60 for under £25k at Motorpoint. Would be very tempted if I were in the market. MY 09 GS manual in Lago Grey, Wood Co arm rest and side bumper strips - now sold.

Right this minute I would swap my Freelander for anything roadworthy other than another Land Rover....

EU service requirements are 12 months or 12000 miles which ever comes first. There is no 6 month service. We also get 3 year Bumper to Bumper warranty and and 5 year powertrain and transmission. Which I don't think you get Down Under. Your service must be dictated by the local conditions and what he importers think they can get away with. In the UK where Audi and Beemer do condition based servicing even 12 monthly is Stone Age .

Toyota is also 6 months servicing. It's the wear and tear caused by our crap roads which the cars can't cope with.

Perhaps what i should have said Bob is that we don't get the 3.6 petrol that our mates Down Under get, yes you are correct the dealer can order a 2.5 petrol, but apparently 99% of buyers want diesel. Most will be farmers filtering red
