I fitted a set to my 2014. I manged to get the whole kit self contained in the head light unit itself. Still looking for an LED alternative but none of them fit within the back plate.

Agreed, heat especialy on the 35 watt units is no issue as they run way cooler than halogen, its basic therodynamics!! more of the energy is converted to light

well not a good start, i used a few web sites that you put your reg in, it identifies your car (correctly) and lists your bulbs (H7)

Washers and self levelling are only needed to be working on cars with HID lights to pass the MOT if fitted. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto Evoque SD4 Dynamic Lux Auto Present: Audi A3 S Line. |

I have used hid kits on 3 cars now, currently own 2, i must have had over 15 mot's all passed, with kit in and working. I did nearly fail the last mot for not having a postcode on my number plates ! |
