Hi guys, had my Freelander 2 about a month now and since the first week the front passenger door will sometimes only open from the inside after it's been unlocked. Does anyone know what this could be? I bought it from a garage and it's under warranty but the problem is as I said, it's intermittent. I had it in at the garage last week but it opened fine everytime so obviously they can't diagnose the problem if it doesn't happen. I get the car home and it does it twice that night. Just wondering if anyone's had this problem and could tell me what it might be so I can tell the garage next time I'm in.

You referring to the electronically open with the key fob/button on dash? Or or physically opening the latch mechanism?

I'll unlock the car using the key fob, every door will unlock fine allowing entry apart from the front passenger door, sometimes it will unlock allowing a passenger to open it but sometimes it stays locked and the driver has to lean over and open it from the inside, once it's been opened its fine, unless I lock the car again with the fob and I have the problem all over again

Will be either the door latch or the door module they will be looking to change.

You can do this yourself. Swapping the module is quite easy or you can rebuild it (clock making skills an advantage)... Did my drivers door yesterday down to motor brush level
