Presumably you have turned the key fully before 'push and twist'. Once it is unlocked, the release knob needs a really good push as far as it will go before turning it. If it is the LR badged Brink, tilt the towball up and pull towards you to remove it whilst hold the release knob fully turned against its return spring. |

will try this ,can you get the key twist bit out of sequence ? seemed to be no resistance on the black handle/knob |

will try this,just wondered if I can access the back of the towbar to lube or persuade it free from underneath. |
