Hi all, Just got my first FL2...had a few fl's but this is the best one by miles. Really love this car and such an improvement in overall design. Interestingly I still love all freelanlders.

Just moved to a 2012 FL2 HSE from a ten year old D3.

Just joined here and it looks like a goldmine of information. Been looking for a Freelander 2 for some time. Considered buying new but unfortunately I just cannot get myself to like any of the newer Landrover range models, and hence have purchased a 2013 HSE Lux in Firenze red.

Have been a CB40 owner for years, and will continue with it for the foreseeable future.

Hopefully I can contribute with learnings/content to the site in the near future.

Hello all, just bought my first Land Rover, went for the 2007 freelander 2. Done lots of research and a little put off but the engine problems but can't be that common can it surely 😂

Edit. After reading the forums much more seems the engines aren't really too much of a problem, more the rear doff and haldex unit. At 83,000 miles though i wonder if it's already been done.

Hi all, just joined the forum. Picking up a 2008 Freelander 2 HSE next week with 82,000 miles on the clock. A bit nervy as the two times I went to view the vehicle at the BMW dealership the battery was flat - hopefully lack of use as opposed to an electrical niggle!

Bought a FL 2 SE auto just yesterday after much deliberation and following 6 years ownership of a Seat Altea Freetrack 4 who's rigid suspension finally drove me to change. Lots to learn with the Freelander and a few niggly worries about rear diffs and auto gearboxes but fingers crossed it has a FSH and 77000 miles only. Quite impressive how low the engine revs and loving the ride comfort so far. Any tips for happy ownership welcomed.

Picked up our 2014 back in the summer in a hurry as the Audi was on its way out. Some g*t recently trashed the wing mirror while it was parked and didn't leave details so early days of understanding expensive repairs! Hoping to have many good miles ahead.

Hello everyone, especially Martin!

Just moving over to this forum from the D3 forum as we've just downsized to a FL2 Sport LE from the Disco TDV6.

No longer tugging a big twin axle wobble box around the country and Europe, so fancied a change. We both liked the look of the FL2, and spotted this after going to look at something else, as you do, and here we are.

Picking it up next week, so frantically reading through as much as I can, as quickly as I can so that I can get to know it as intimately as I got to know my D3!

Looking forward to FL2 ownership!
