I have my Caravan on a farm and have to charge the battery to keep it topped up

Tyre pressures and wheel nut torque should be in the caravan handbook. As a general guide, single axle vans are normally about 50psi for tyres double axle vans are normally lower 32-35 psi. Wheel nut torque is normally 65lbsft for steel wheels and 85lbsft for alloy wheels.

I also had a caravan wheel come off in Germany - I suspected at the time it was an anti English type that loosened them.

I guess the anti caravan comments are amusing once or twice - but very tiresome and childish when it keeps on . .

Refer to your caravan handbook for torque settings for your wheel nuts / tyre pressures etc...

What has your leisure battery got to do with this thread?
