I've just had Cross Climates fitted (last Monday). I know folk in the tyre business and it takes something special to impress them. They've been very impressed by the Cross Climates. I'll be interested on how they perform. So far so good. |

Tried the likes of ASDA tyres and Black Circle etc and not offering a Michelin Cross Climate in my spec of 235/65R17 108V ? Are these a brand type that has just come to market ? Seems strange ! Plenty of other Michelins on offer. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years FL2 MY13 TD4 GS Current |

I have the Cross Climates on 235/56R17 108. I can confirm that they have only recently become available, certainly when I inquired at Kwik Fit they were not on the system but were ordered direct from Michelin. They should become more widely available shortly. |

Thanks for that W rating is the difference as standard tyres are V. I assume an insurance company cannot quibble if you up the speed rating FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years FL2 MY13 TD4 GS Current |

I've got Avon zx7, wasn't the tyre's I originally wanted (Firestone destination HP).. After some research on the Avon's they seem good with an 'A'wet rating C for fuel & 70dB...nice and quite and with real grip on the corners...I've no idea how they'll preform in the cold but the winters are mostly wet up here with few snowy days these days. It seems Avon were OE on prestigious cars of the past... |

Currently on Michelin Defender LTX M/S 235/55R 19in for the past 10mos. A solid all around tire for those spending most of their time on pavement. Quiet on the highway, but plenty confident in the mountain snow. These are siped (sp?) and extra load rated. Much better on ice than the OEM Contis ever were.

CrossClimates now on and so far not that much quieter (if at all) than the Wranglers but I did switch them front to back to get even wear. They are still bedding in I guess. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years
