You'd find these really hard to beat - been using the convex ones for years. They've got a really clear view, are easy and secure to attach and are BIG!

Definitely go for the Milenco ones! Secure to the mirrors easily and are far cheaper! 1998 300TDi Auto Disco, never to be forgotten.

As much as I agree on the Milenco, the OP has asked a sponsor for a quotation for a part

I too have Milenco Grand Aeros with V Pads. I have done 3,000 miles to Spain & back, plus a recent holiday to the Scottish Highlands and never a problem with the mirrors. Possibly the best towing mirrors I have used. Do you have convex or flat glass? I ask as I could never get on with flat glass with other mirrors so have convex with these too. Cannot think of what the issue is. Bob 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone) 08 FL2 TD4 SE Manual in Rimini Red (Now Gone) |

I must admit I did not realise Grand Aeros had been out for so long! Mine are about 3 years old. However, what is there to wear out? Either the mirror is rigid or it is not. As long as both the verticle and the horizontal pairs of clamps are tightened firm there should be minimal movement at the mirror. On mine I have put a slight curve on the arm to follow the car mirror body top trailing edge, just so the clamps are presented squarely to the car mirror body, that is all. I would have thought Milencos should last for years!
