The first 2 photos were taken on the Assietta alpine ridge route from Susa to Sestriere, about 60km long, mostly unsurfaced, and rising to 2566m.

@ Snappa: it's always difficult to define what is the "best" brightness. I think the darker foreground and the light spot in front of the car makes the photo more dramatic but indeed, the car itself becomes less visible.

No no you misunderstood. It's a great shot as it is I meant a pro photographer lighting the nearsside with flash heads |
