Warmest December ever recorded. 9.7C CET average for the whole month. Absolutely sickening! This is going to be a very mild winter with no snow and ice for the vast majority. A complete write off. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Let's not forget that winter only officially started on the 21st December. January and February could be completely different! Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

^ Believe me, I would celebrate being wrong about this winter but the mild seems relentless, as does the rain. People kept saying in the 13/14 winter that January or February would deliver cold but it never came. Hideous winter that was. The meteorological winter begins 1st December as opposed to the astronomical winter which usually starts on the 21st but this year was the 22nd for some reason. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Wrong! I can remember the snow piled up in our street for literally months. As others have said, started at Christmas 1962 and was still on the ground at Easter time. Google it. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto Evoque SD4 Dynamic Lux Auto Present: Audi A3 S Line. |

I have it on good authority its likely to get colder towards the middle/end of next week (along with yet another weather warning for wind/rain) |
