I want to reinforce the above, my reminder from last week to be courteous is being ignored.

No worries. It didn't inconvenience me but I felt like posting it because it is an illegal overtake and I showed it to an experienced biker who said he would never execute such a manoeuvre even if it wasn't illegal. He said those hatchings really unsettle the front end. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby LOT (Lord of Time) - University of Gallifrey |

Ride a 1050cc Triumph (been riding bikes for 40 years now) and ride on hatch markings often for my sin's so can't relate to that. The state of the roads nationwide nowadays are far worse than riding over a few white lines. |

I think no one is perfect when it comes to driving but there is a broad spectrum on how closely we abide by the law or not. Each to there own, my preference is to stick to the law and drive as safely as possible, never get flustered when someone cuts me up, try and be appreciative of other road users and enjoy driving. My Fl2 helps me do that. Stuff everyone else, they can drive how they like and if my driving to the speed limit bugs you then I don't care, so get worked up about it if you want.

Too close and there is no need to make another lane when the traffic is moving at that sort of speed.

How lucky he was that the blue truck had side bars! Everyone can spread it - Anyone can catch it. Stay home - the life you save can be your own! |
