The 'RF' module that receives the signals from the fob is located behind the headlining, central between the volumetric sensor and the rear end. |

I've got a panoramic sunroof. Will that make a difference? |

It very probably is the batteries, LR say renew them after 3 years, if its not that it could be where youre parking,a mobile phone mast or dish in the near vacinity affecting your signal? |

It's most likely the solder joint that connects the battery to the circuit board in the key fob

Well I replaced the battery as instructed (thank you for the youtube video). Left the fob inserted in the car for 30 minutes and tried it. All seemed ok. But next day back to same old problem. I also tried it down on my beloved allotment (away from nasty wifi interference) with the same results. Seems more hit and miss now (locking better than unlocking) but it still struggles to unlock. |

Seems to be worse than ever now. Grrrr. Ok on a nice warm day but don't fancy it taking 3 minutes to unlock in the middle of winter

Had same issue on wife's 07 FL2, took fob to a local TV repair guy and asked him to change battery. He took fob apart and cleaned inside checked battery and said it was fine. Fob has worked perfect since, I think it might be the same with yours 2014 SE Loire Blue SD4 Auto (MY15)
