I think the concept may be nearer what LR have in mind, however there is a train of thought that the "iconic" square rear should be there?

I like it - a really good styling job Taz. Very unlikely to find favour in LR HQ as it looks too much like a proper Landrover and has far too little bling and sparkly bits.

There's certainly a train of thought which says that a Land Rover should stress the U in SUV, not the S. And that means that one should be able to do all kinds of useful and practical things with a LR - like shelter under the tailgate even if one is over 6', sit comfortably on the back of the load area, carry large items of furniture, etc. Things which a square rear allows, but a sloping one doesn't. So for the U I like your design!

Ive always reckoned that this would've been the ideal update/replacement for the FL2.

One of the dealers we use is saying the new disco will be the shape of the DS but larger! Looking at the RRS and Evoque I do believe him Wink MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

Strange most like the design, yet all that's been changed is the roofline. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

Raised body, straightened back end out, roofline, rear window tweaks and second one has a squarer front.
