Scotland 2014 Freelander 2 SD4 Metropolis LE Auto Firenze Red

Thanks for the info taz , very informative . I have been useing my Karcher with an extension for a few years now, the "only" things that have gone wrong with it are 2 small plastic pipes inside it freeze and crack , £15 a pop. I now strip it down before the first frost .
The link for the pump is an intersting idea but it won't fit into the "barrel" Do it now ! Your a long time dead !!

I have a 1000w generator, and that does not provide enough juice for my Karcher, so I would suggest checking the rating plate on the washer, remember for mains power as a rough guide, 1000w is about 4 amps, 500w about 2 amps etc.  MY2014 SD4 XS

I'm surprised you are thinking of rinsing they way the rain is coming down this week!!

Where are you storing it? It might be easier totake it somewhere close by that has better facilities. Everyone can spread it - Anyone can catch it. Stay home - the life you save can be your own!

I store the van at Strathclyde park. I like the idea of taz sub pump , if it would fit into an Aquaroll it would be the way to go. The more I read about the inverter it seems to be a non starter. Do it now ! Your a long time dead !!

If you can get it out easily you could bring it the 1/2 mile to my drive where there is real electricity and tap water. (Ignore location on site - that is to keep pikeys guessing.) Everyone can spread it - Anyone can catch it. Stay home - the life you save can be your own!

if it's just for rinsing, why not use the van pump!

It would be easier and cheaper to rig a connection from the van water supply under a bunk. Just a simple 15mm plastic pushfit T with a washer type valve on the end, then you can connect a hose to it and bobs your mothers brother  MY2014 SD4 XS

Thanks very much for the invitation navigator but I'm trying to avoid the hassle of hitching up. The old wardens at Strathclyde park where great , there is a gravel car park next to 2 pods. I could take the van down there (about 500yrds from my storage pitch) and do what I needed to clean the van , but there is a new couple it's kinda the same deal apart from no hose . It takes ages to wash and rinse as it's about 80yrd walk to get to the tap , fill up 2 buckets and 80yrds back across the grass, last year I stood in dog poo , I wasn't a happy camper . It took about 2 hours to clean the van with buckets , if a hose could be used it would be done in 30 - 40 mins .
That pump taz is used on many caravans to supply water via the "barrel" so fitting isn't a problem . I never realised what the flow was like outwith the caravan tap. More food for thought , extended the wire and put an inline swith so I can turn it off/on when needed Thumbs Up Do it now ! Your a long time dead !!

I don't think that would work AD , it's not a submersible pump , it's an onboard . Npinks has a great idea , I'm now search for that type of pump.

You only need a pipe connected to it to drop it in the Aquarol, another pipe as an outlet. Doesn't need to be submersible in this application. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

Is the pump in the van not fitted so it draws from the Aquarol anyway? Just divert the output from the taps to your hosepipe. Everyone can spread it - Anyone can catch it. Stay home - the life you save can be your own!
