I have to say, £600-£700 a year is more than I had hoped the car would cost outside of service/mot/worn parts and the odd issue. But I suppose the £3k I would lose by selling is quite a few years warranty... FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

I'm discounting servicing etc as Id need to do that on any car I bought, but it is just the concern that so far it has been very problematic and I don't want that to continue outside of the warranty. But I could replace it with something just as bad! FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

if your going to be strapped for cash over the next year or two due to the house move, etc I would be inclined to get rid of it.

What I would add is out of the cars I have driven, being a Micra, Sportage, A4 and the Fl2, I adore it. I would hate to drive one of the others. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

That was my other option when I went for the FL2. Boot was too small for my needs at the time (double buggy and scooter etc) but would be fine now. But I struggled to find one on budget at the time due to popularity of used models. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

I would get rid, if funds are tight then there are far cheaper alternatives out there, the FL2 has poor economy, high servicing costs (unless you go the indie route), high road tax and if anything mechanical goes wrong it is usually an expensive bill.

Personally I would keep it, you like the FL2, its suits your purposes and now you have had the warranty work done, that work will be guaranteed for a further 12 months at least.

RogB - I think I read on here somewhere that warranty repairs don't carry the 12 month guarantee you'd expect on a repair you pay for. I could be wrong though. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone

wouldnt put it past the warranty company to wriggle out of it somehow, however i should hope the replacement parts are covered by at least a 12 month guarantee leaving the labour costs to haggle over. |

If the repair was on the LR warranty supplied by an LR dealership then the repair is warranted for 1year, again we look at the SOG, the repairing dealer/repairer is liable, the warranty guarantor only pays for the repair to the supplying dealer/repairer.
