My 2008 HSE has standard candles in the front that, although long-lasting, are pretty feeble. This hasn't been a problem up to now but we've recently started a regular trip to Truro in the evening and so I'm now struggling.

What's the latest thoughts on replacement bulbs? I don't want to get into large-scale conversions from standard but do want brighter lights. It would be nice if they lasted a fair time before blowing out.

Contrary to many opinions I found Halfords 100 or 110 plus H7 bulbs to be very good and make quit a considerable difference in my 2018 FL2
Tried Nightbreakers in 2013 model which uses HB3 bulbs, very dissapointed. All FL2's (3) Gone

FL2 GS Auto SD with heated leather, factory tints, alloy spare and a few other bits.
