What use is that b*****d in those boys lives?

Then you get good guys who get shut out of their children's lives by vindictive women and the courts do next to nothing to help.

That bloke is a danger to that woman forever and should never see freedom.

I have read the story and glanced at the legislation. I plan to look at it further to satisfy curiosity but no doubt the application under the legislation considered his human rights Rolling Eyes I don't want to get into that but I will say that is absolutely outrageous.

From what I have seen from glancing at the legislation, I can see why it went his way legally but I still think its wrong. Parliament has the power to amend legislation and they should be lobbied about this BIG TIME.

More reading required when I'm less tired but this is a very disturbing story indeed. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

This is exactly the sort of situation where because the law is letting down society that "vigilante" action can easily arise to send this man onto the next world and resolve the problem of the victim being forced to contact him. While such action would be illegal under the same law, society in general would support it. Ans so we step closer to anarchy. Everyone can spread it - Anyone can catch it. Stay home - the life you save can be your own!

IF the 'father' has rights to know about his kids, then at he very most he deserves is a simple tick box yes/no form filled in once a year,

eg are kids ok yes/no
are they doing well at school yes/no
do they want you out of their lives? YES/YES

anything personal or artistic no way and making the mother write letters wtf , how can they enforce that???.

I say leave her alone to recover if thats possible At work

When someone is incarcerated I think certain rights that we are entitled to in our free society should be withdrawn, which forms part of the punishment. Entitlement to receive information about how your children are doing should be one of them, in this instance.

I agree. He should have lost any rights when he struck the first blow!
