My Freelander 2 starts but nothing works, (Fixed)

Today while driving my dash board died, the indicator sounds stopped but the car still drove and I had music and GPS.

I drove straight home and reversed into my garden, now the following faults are happening-

1. The key will not eject.
2. When I start it, it sounds fine but I cannot select a gear (Auto).
3. The dash is still blank, but I have stereo.

I have taken the battery terminals off for an hour or so and re-connected problem persists.

I have checked the fuses all seem ok.

Has anyone here had an issue like this? If so what was the diagnostics?

PS. I'm new to the forum, so hi to all Very Happy

Many thanks for idea.

Hi Alex, he means two of the plugs had become disconnected. There were three in total, hence two out of three. The 'were out' refers to the two not being connected.
Hope I haven't confused you more?!

Thanks for the explanation, guys!

So the correct text was supposed to be: two of the 3 were out.

When I've learned English (and I still am), although the "were" and "where" are near the same in pronunciation, "where" specify a place/situation when "were" is a verb, simple past tense indicative, right?
Not to mention the "of" particle.
Thanks again.

PS: No offense intended.
