My daughter has Renault Megane and she put it in for a minor service at a Renault dealership. She got it back OK and then received an email with a short video made by the technician going around the car,making comments and showing closeups of the brakes showing that the front discs were lipped and that the pads were worn to about 30% etc and should be checked in the next few months. A health check list of all underbody components was enclosed and a quote for doing front and rear pads plus front discs of £192.

Overall a very nice touch and one that inspired her with a lot of confidence. Has anyone seen anything like this from a LandRover dealer?.

We had a video emailed to us when the Freelander went into Stratstones in Bury last summer. Did not really tell more than I already knew. It showed discs and tyres and the repair that was needed!

I mentioned it to the service manager at my Dealer. He said that Land Rover are looking at bringing in a system like it to be used by all Land Rover dealers. Have heard nothing more about it.
