Key issues

anyone got any help or advise on the following
The key inserts fine but when you try to push it and it normally pops out it doesn't pop out you have to pull it doesn't eject, anyone any advice? Regards

In all seriousness, I have searched for two days and no one seems to have answered WHY the fob receiver doesn't give the key back and therefore how to fix it.

mine used to do it occasionally, only thing I could work out is that I wasn't pressing the stop button on the dash for long enough before trying to remove the key, so it got confused and needed to be pulled out the receiver with force before re-inserting and shutting down properly
