England 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Auto Izmir Blue

Well we took the hand brake shoes off mine today and you were right the near side expander was seized solid.The disc had signs of it getting hot and we could see on the inside where the shoes had been rubbing,we binned it all and replaced them with new ones.

Hi Paul,
Did you replace the expanders and disc as well? Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

We replaced the shoes, expanders,discs and pads as it made seance why it was all apart.

It's the way to do it.
I did free and copper slip the expanders but they seized again with a few days. Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.
