Very slight price increase on some models (GS, XS, HSE Lux).

Mirrors stay the same, sorry!

United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Lux Auto Baltic Blue

I'm curious as to why the Freelander will remain bonnet-badged as Land Rover for the remainder of its lifetime. If it was being incorporated into a new global positioning, you would have thought that it would follow suit with the Discovery branding? Or are they planning on adopting this on its replacement?

Personally, I'm glad that they are staying badged as Land Rover (for now), as that is what they are uppermost.

Useful bit of information, cheers... Thumbs Up Foraging near Gaydon....

Emissions and tax are a big step forward, what strikes me is the brand identity, this will be the flagship of the discovery brand and the 'baby' Disco or 'sport' must take styling clues from here.
Iinteresting times ahead.

The replacement will more than likely have the new branding, which will probably be DISCOVERY also. Not 100% sold on the idea but will see what happens.

My ones due for replacement around the time the next car comes out. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

Recently ordered an HSE in Moscow, it should be my14 already. Dealer shown me a short list of changes, not dramatically ones. Among them I remember 2 new colors (new blue and bronze) and a capacitive display instead of resistive one in meridian system.

Hi Jeremy

Any changes for the dynamic? Looking to get mine in September 2014! Hopefully it will still be available? When was the dynamic introduced as part of the line up I am correct in thinking. March 2013?

No changes for Dynamic but by September 14 we will have had 14.5my and potentially 15my coming so things could well change between now and then!

What colour has caught your eye?

Scotland 2014 Freelander 2 TD4_e Dynamic Manual Fuji White

I have decided Fuji White as it definitely shows the styling pack of nicely. I would be getting the rear quarter panels colour coded also as they look like a faded plastic after a while. I've had a freelander 1 for nearly 10 years Bow down and it's been a joy to own bet youve never heard that said in the same sentence Rolling with laughter

But as you said I just hope the dynamic is still available. Was just flicking though the broucher and noticed that you cannot get lamp guards for it now Shocked tbh the accessories are a bit of my disappointment hardly any in fact. On my freelander 1 their was a 30 odd page booklet but guess times change. When do you think that the freelander 2 will stop being produced? Don't want to go to the dealer come sept 2014 to be told sorry all Dynamics are sold out and that the freelander now is only available in the colours sitting at the dealerships the colours and specs no one wanted. Also what spec is the dynamic based on been told XS then that it's really an HSE without heated wheel and sunroof.

I have got a soft spot for Freelander 1's. If you've got a good one they're great vehicles, but the 2 is a massive massive jump!

Naturally there will come a point Freelander 2 will come to an end. The dealer network will know well in advance and depending on your relationship with your chosen dealer give you plenty of time to get an order in.

Spec wise the Dynamic is based on the XS as you say but with some more bits.

If you fancy drop me an email jeremy.jackson@hadleygreen.co.uk and I will try and find the original info we where given when Dynamic came out. It might take me a day or two to track down (I know I havent got it on this computer!) Very Happy
