Does this count?
From this earlier post Not that I'm put off by it. I've heard too many reports of good results with 2 stroke oil over long periods/high mileages + my car is running just fine with 2 stroke oil @ 200:1 (and I'll leave you to judge the credibility of the person who posted that report since I'm not allowed by the recent forum rulings). |

Just a wee update. I'm now on about the twelfth full tank of 1:200 2SO in my Euro 4 dCi 86 Micra and it's running perfectly. Absolutely aced it's last MOT, the engine's smooth as Barry White bathing in double cream and it goes like an absolute stabbed rat with no exhaust smoke whatsoever . |

I know this has been mentioned before, but would it do any harm if I added some 2 stroke oil when filling my tank with diesel? My Freelander is 5 years old and has only done 34000 miles, but I find the engine is more noisy than when I bought it new. I was advised that I could add approx 100ml of 2 stroke oil to 30 ltrs of diesel. But, another person said that if my vehicle has a Diesel Particulate Filter, then adding the oil would do more damage.

Blimey, I thought that this topic would have died a death by now, but no, it still rages on after all this time.

Should have said that for your F2 (MY2007 without a DPF unit) you would need to use NON synthetic 2SO.
