Took my car back to the dealer this morning censuring the key fobs, and i must say i was impressed with the way they dealt with things.. thought i was gonna have a hard time getting it sorted out, they plugged it in to the ECU and said sorry sir it looks like it could be one of two things Iver both keys are faulty of the sensor that's located behind the rear spoiler is faulty - he got on the phone to my nearest LR service garage and ordered a new sensor and 2 brand new keys

I remember buying a car in Nov 2008, it was just as the bottom dropped out of the car market, very few car sales, my plate transfer was taken by the dealer on the monday, all the docs came back on the thursday, 3 days it took! I phoned the dealer to ask when I could pick my car up, they replied 7 days! I said how come it will take so long, they said thats how long it takes. When I picked the car up it was the worst handover that i've experianced, but thats another story.

I changed my personal plate on one day. Just turn up at your local DVLA office with the right paperwork and they d0 it while you wait including issuing a new MOT and tax disc. John

Could of done that, but seeing as they shut at 5pm and not open on a saturday it was hard for me to get up there due to work, that's why it was easier for me to get the dealer to sort it out BETTER looking half of the famous Twinlanders The wanna be other half - http://www.freel2.com/forum/member-carriec.html |
