have you got roof bars ? could be wind also the wing mirrors are big so they do catch the wind aswell lol When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car |

Mine started whistling from the same area after I had a small dent in the door skin repaired by the dealer. Complained and they fixed it, and all I noticed was there was fresh windscreen sealant oozing from the join line where the black plastic backing for the mirror mount meets the door frame. The dealer reckoned they re-hung the door, but I figured that was just to impress me with science - there was no need to remove the door altogether for such a small repair, but they would have had to take off the mirror all the plastic trim, including that triangular shaped piece of plastic when they removed the mirror for the repainting. |
