I'm not at all suprised Nick. In fact, most garage air lines are just as crap. Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice. |

I don't use garage air, well I do but always use my own gauge to check pressure

I believe the rule of thumb is 1 psi up or down per 5 degrees Centigrade or 10 degrees Fahrenheit. Higher temperatures increase pressure and lower decrease.

I was wondering what temp you should worry at? The pressure went up as expected when driving as did the temp, I think the tyrepal preset was 70c , which I haven't got anywhere near too Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

Tire pressure is always read and measured as cold tire pressure. If you fill the tires to 32psi at 15c and the temperature drops to 10c or lower I would consider adding a pound or two. You don't need to compensate for the normal rise in temperatures due to driving. 2013 LR2 HSE LUX: 2.0L I4; Barolo Black, Ebony Windsor Leather; Navigation, Satellite Radio, Cold Weather Pack, Piano Black Trim. |

I am not sure if there is a certain temperature that you should start to be worried at. However, I would think the best thing to do would be to monitor for any tire that seems to be a consistently higher temperature than the other three. Even a 10 degree difference when driving in straight line at a constant speed vs the others could indicate an alignment problem or other issue. 2013 LR2 HSE LUX: 2.0L I4; Barolo Black, Ebony Windsor Leather; Navigation, Satellite Radio, Cold Weather Pack, Piano Black Trim. |

Hi npinks, which Tyrepal product do you have. Is it the TD1000 or TD1200? From what you've said about it I think I might be interested in getting a set for my Freelander. They have a new version due soon as well a TB99, so not sure which I should go for. Joanne

TD1000 as its max psi is 60 and my caravan tyres are below that, if i had my single axle i would have gone for the next version up

Yep, you're right the offer is no more, and the cheapest appears to be the newer version which is going to cost around £135 I think.

Fifth Gear looked at this (N2 filling) back in the early spring and it's a bit of a gimmick
