Just got quotes from both my local LR dealers for first service. Unfortunately they are both Guy Salmon group so quotes were identical - £346 inc VAT

Forum Members 1st Service Deal - Although we appreciate that some have been quoted a cheaper price for their 1st service (TD4), we are happy to carry out the service for £335 inclusive of parts, labour and VAT for forum members.

Had four quotes this morning for the first service. Conwy:£304.60, James Edwards Chester:£346.00, Shukers Shrewsbury £322.58 and Cambrian Aberystwyth £233.00. Needless to say, there is a good reason why the vehicle was purchased from Cambrian Land Rover in Aberystwyth. They also serve very good coffee. I should also add that the software upgrade seems to have rectified the problems I was experiencing with the radio. So, I would buy another LR2 and I would go back to Cambrian Land Rover! |

I believe all the quoted prices include VAT. I double checked with Cambrian Land Rover in Aberystwyth before booking the vehicle in for the first service. Their price DOES include VAT. |

Initial quote from a Stratstones Dealer was 378 inc VAT. I mentioned that people have been charged about 280 inc VAT around the country so they matched without any quibble.
