NOT Winter Tyres

I would like opinions on tyres fitted to 18 inch wheels.

I am not interested in winter tyres , off road tyres just equivalent to the 'normal' M & S tyre fitted from new.

Any comments on life , grip tyre noise would be helpful.

I've got the Pirelli Scorpions on my HSE (18" wheels) and find them to be reasonably quiet plus they seem to have enough grip in poor weather conditions. Wear rate also seems ok - just had to replace two due to a cut in one and nail in another but they had done around 26k and still had life left in them. put some General grabber at,s on my last freelander had them on for 2 months seemed very good, def better than the conti,s in the snow up here in winter .
Now kept as a mud / winter set , (should last 3-4 winters ) and keep the conti,s for spring, summer, and autumn

good wet weather tyre as well the at,s tiny bit more road noise than the conti,s (helps to move the sheep saves haveing to use the horn, keep the electric for the lights then see ..) Wales
Were the mud is thicker, and the ruts are deeper.
(And we have the water to wash it off, and more on the way..! )
Sd4 and chrome Ar*e piece, Auto box for best fun

If your planning on keeping it for a while I would fit the Good Year Wrangler, they won't be the cheapest but will see you through the next 35000 miles.

I can't fault the wranglers... Although am I right in thinking that Goodyear are changing them? Freelander 2 TD4 Auto, SE, Narvik Black, Alpaca full leather, Rear Headrest Entertainment System, 6 CD, 18 HSE Wheels, Privicy tints
