someone took the door speakers out and they are philips or similar. alpine seems to be just a badge or a design using other peoples components. At work

The name is used under licence and I would not be surprised if none of it was really Alpine. Not sure what is used at the moment but my MY2008 had a FoMoCo head unit.

In order to add speakers you are going to need the outputs from the amp which may not be included Prog rock is cool! Smile

The Amp itself is behind the offside loadspace side panel. The rear surround outputs if active are as follows

plug 27E

Pin 7 Brown/White) RH rear
Pin 2 Brown/Blue )

Pin6 White/Green ) LH Rear
Pin1 Brown/ Yellow )

For completeness

Pin 8 Green ) Centre
Pin 3 Grey/Yellow)

This appears to be all that plug 27E is actually used for so I rather suspect that the loom will be missing and the output stages will not be in the amp. Prog rock is cool! Smile

so what happened ? I wanted to do this too! When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car
