I have just swopped my GS for a SE but within 24 hours of getting it home it is showing signs of the dreaded clucth/duel mass fly wheel problem talked about so much on here.
My first question is can i reject the car even though its on fianance?,i'm expecting to be fobbed off as i purchased it from a car supermarket so want to get my facts in order in case they try it on, to be honest i don't know my rights regarding fianance,when they realise how much its going to cost them i imagine they'll bodge it or something, going to ring them this morning so fingers crossed

what age is the car and mileage ?

is it outwith Landrover warranty ?

also the fact that it is on finance may be in your favour.

With most finance terms the car actually belongs to the finance company, if the dealer wont fix the car you can tell the finance co to fix it. At work

Yes the fianance company own it thank god!!!!!

I don't think you should have any problem getting it fixed.

quick update
They (available car) have told us they will sort the clutch and given us a astra courtesy car for the duration,so all in all we are pleased at this stage,just hope they do sort it.

Nope,
Good advice given, make sure they replace both clutch and DMF together with the clutch slave cylinder. They are aslo prone to premature failure.
You shouldn't have been sold it in the first place. Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.
