United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 HST Auto Stornoway Grey
Plumped for a HST

After many hours on Autotrader, and seeking advice from Freel2, i have now put a deposit on a 2009 HST Auto, 30,000 miles, all the toys, Sidesteps and Towbar.

This has been a tough decision as i really liked a 2010 Manual sport with the bodykit, full leather, but none of the luxuries.

Moving on, is there any way of setting up the sound unit so that you can control your IPOD through it.

Thanks for the input

There will be a Jack Plug in the centre console by the rear most accessory power supply (constant live) you can plug in to that and you will be able to control the volume. The official LR iPod lead which plugs directly to the radio is way over priced for limited use in a Freely.

If you do a search on the site a number of people have replicated the LR connector using cheaper bits from the bay/Maplins and sourced power so the Ipod can live in the 'glove box' I have not done it as I stick to cd's..... JT Upgraded to an ex demo, 7 mth old, Rimini Red/Ebony Napoli Auto HSE on 28th Jan 2011, added roof rails, mudflaps and side strips.
Gone - A great 57 Plate, Auto SE, Bought Feb 2009, Roof Rails and Mudflaps added on purchase. Blue colour, anything but drug dealer black.....
