Shar, it would appear that LR have beefed the lashing point up a little bit (but not much!) compared to the Freelander 1.

It's nice Jan but the little 30p plastic clips in the bumper that the cover locks into fall out very easily and cost 2 hours labour (£100-£150+) to put in as the dealer has to remove and replace the bumper to get access to them!

Many Thanks for all your comments, i have been checking peoples galleries to see pictures of towbars. I have decided that i am going to get either a witter or genuine land rover removable tow bar and then genuine land rover electric kit.
