A leaf in the blower area or a dry bearing on the fan motor (If it has one, probably nylon bushes) |

I don't suppose that any of the vents a closed and the blower is trying to force air through a closed vent |

Any other ideas? Whistle goes away when on re-circulated air. Anyone know where the air intake is for the fan heater? |
